A Trailblazer with a Vision
Hi, I'm Hope!
Thank you for visiting Holders of Hope and for taking an interest in my handmade potholders.
What started as a simple craft project with my mom has grown into something much more meaningful. My mom used to make potholders when she was a kid, and one day she found a loom and some colorful loops. We decided to make a few together, and before long, I discovered that I truly loved creating them.
As we wove each loop over and under, I noticed something special. We each had our own favorite colors, patterns, and weaving styles, yet every potholder came together to create something beautiful and unique. It reminded me of the incredible students I learn alongside in the Trailblazer Program at the University of Nebraska–Omaha. Just like every potholder is made one loop at a time, every Trailblazer has unique talents, strengths, and abilities that come together to make our community stronger.
The Trailblazer Program has encouraged me to grow in confidence, discover my talents, and believe in what I can accomplish. Through that journey, I found a passion for creating handmade potholders and was inspired to start my own small business—Holders of Hope.
Every potholder is handcrafted with care and can be customized just for you. Whether you're celebrating a wedding, baby shower, holiday, favorite sports team, school colors, or simply want something that matches your kitchen, each piece is made with your colors, your style, and your story in mind.
My dream is that, as Holders of Hope grows, I'll one day be able to provide opportunities for other Trailblazers to create alongside me. Every purchase helps support that dream and reminds us that everyone has something valuable to contribute.

Our Process
Colors & Patterns
We select vibrant, durable cotton loops in a variety of palettes. Each pattern is thoughtfully composed, ensuring that every potholder is a small, unique work of art.
Handcrafted Quality
Each piece is woven by hand with extreme care and attention. Hope spends hours ensuring every loop is secure, resulting in a product that is as sturdy as it is beautiful.
Easy Care
Our potholders are machine washable and designed for heavy kitchen use. They represent Hope’s dream of creating practical, meaningful items that last a lifetime.
